Highly detailed injection molded kit with many photoetched parts, resin engine & super-detailed cockpits. NOTE: decals are shown but not mentioned on the box or instructions. Easily the most accurate 1/48 kit of this aircraft.
Includes paint guide and decals for the aircraft noted. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. If there are suppose to be there, they are not present. Features very fine recessed panel lines, detailed cockpit and wheel wells, two large decals sheets, metal wheel hubs and rubber tires.
Kit can be built with wheels or floats and features markings for all three historical aircraft. JG Burn's aircraft was the one that picked up 9 downed pilots in one day during the famous air raid on Truk Lagoon in April 1944. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.
NOTE: the decals are intact but only 'fair.' Please read the article on this website that describes how to save or reproduce old decals. Features full instructions and hollow, fully carved 'Wonder Wing,' shaped and hollowed upper and lower fuselage halves, die-cut tail surfaces, pre-formed wire gear and rubber wheels, hinge material, all metal hardware, die-cut hardwood firewall, celluloid windshields and solid pre-cut wing tips. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions.
The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. Features two large sheets of photoetched brass which includes car sides, ends, roof, doors, cupola and more, cast white metal fittings, hardwood parts that are completely cut and milled to shape, detailed instructions and plans and very complete decals. The small fittings are still in the factory sealed bag.
